Darren, originally from Canterbury UK, has lived in Tomar for over a decade and in Portugal for nearly 20 years. With a background in people management and development and a lifelong fascination with medieval history, Darren brings clear, calm storytelling that makes complex history enjoyable for all visitors.
Hannah, raised in Portugal, adds research expertise and a passion for medieval culture, symbolism, and myth. Her curiosity and energy help bring history to life, bridging the gap between fact and imagination.
Together, we offer tours rooted in research and scholarship, delivered with warmth, humour, and personal engagement — never a scripted speech, always a genuine conversation.
